Master Kadir Kadri is an instructor for Shaolin Self Defense Centers.
Master Kadir Kadri has been training in the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate since 1992 under his instructor Shihan Thomas Ingargiola and holds the rank of 5th Degree (Dan) Black Belt. In 1997 he started to teach at the West Babylon Dojo. At age 16 Master Kadri started his amateur kickboxing career. During his career as an amateur he became the USKBA Amateur Long Island Champion, Kick New York Champion, and USKBA Amateur World Champion.
At age 18 Kadir became a professional kickboxing fighter. In 2001 he entered the USA Extreme Challenge tournament in Florida and won four fights in one day to become the tournament victor for the Light Heavyweight division. Kadir continues to fight professionally and has participated in fight events that were broadcasted on MSG Network and Pay-Per-View. Throughout his professional career Kadir has claimed several professional titles including: WKA New York Champion (current), USKBA USA Champion (current), USKBA International Champion (current), KICK World Champion (former), and ISKA Light Cruiserweight World Champion (current).Other awards have included the Bushido Spirit Award from Shaolin Self Defense Centers and Yugoslavian athlete of the year.
Master Kadri is also active in the community teaching numerous self defense seminars for various groups including the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Winthrop Hospital , and all girls baseball team.
